Pure lavender oil is an incredible essential oil to use for your own health and wellness. It's among the gentlest of essential oils, also one of the most powerful, making it a favorite in households for its health properties and uses. Lavender Essential Oils is best known for its relaxing and calming properties that promote sleep and ease feelings of tension (headaches) and anxiety. Lavender essential oil is an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, plus a stress reducer, especially for kids, and is helpful in the healing of small burns, cuts and insect bites. Lavender is an excellent soothing agent for nearly every situation; its aroma will bring calming effect in many situations where an antiseptic is required. One of the best-smelling naturally antibacterial essential oils, Lavender pairs well with another common natural cleaner, vinegar and is ideal cleaning agent for your home. Lavender also promotes hair growth. When massaged into the scalp, it improves blood circulation as well as prevents hair loss. It also helps keep the scalp moisturized, balances sebum production and helps fight dandruff.
  • Add lavender essential oil to your diffuser before going to sleep, It will have a calming effects on both your body and mind and will help you to sleep well. (Add Vetiver oil to this blend for better results)
  • Dilute several drops (2-4) of lavender with a carrier oil of your choice, and apply it to your chosen area of skin to give it a general uplifting boost. This blend is especially effective on dry skin.
  • To eliminate dandruff rub several drops of lavender essential oil onto the scalp. Do this before bedtime (you will sleep better as well) or prior to showering.
  • As a nail Cuticle treatment, warm up a small bowl of olive oil, add 4-6 drops of Lavender to the oil and stir. Dip nails and cuticles into mixture, soak for 5-10 minutes.
  • You can use it around your home as a natural, toxic-free air freshener. Either spray lavender oil around your home or try diffusing it. To create a relaxing atmosphere in your bedroom before you fall asleep, try spraying the lavender oil and water mixture directly onto your bed sheets or pillow.
  • Add a few drops of Lavender Essential Oil onto cotton balls and place in drawers, bins, closets or cupboards to deodorise and repel moths, plus keep your clothes smelling fresh.
